How do I tag a 360° video?
Add an MP4 or MOV video, choose the appropriate stereoscopic mode, then start injection. You can download the result without re-encoding.
Which formats are supported?
The tool accepts MP4 and MOV videos. The file must contain a readable MP4 header so the metadata can be replaced.
Is the video re-encoded?
No. The tool only replaces the required metadata atom. The audio and video streams are preserved.
What is the difference between the three modes?
Monoscopic is for a classic 360° video. Top-Bottom and Left-Right are for stereoscopic videos, depending on how the two views are arranged.
Are my videos sent to a server?
The complete video is not uploaded for analysis. The MP4 header required for injection is sent to the legacy metadata service, then the final file is rebuilt in the browser.
Can I process several videos at once?
Yes. Add several files, check their status, then start injection. Results can be downloaded individually or as a batch.
What happens if the video is already tagged?
The analysis detects existing 360° metadata and shows it on the file card before processing.
Does processing work without an internet connection?
Analysis can happen in your browser, but injection uses the legacy metadata service. An internet connection is therefore required to produce the final file.
